Words and Music by

Ron Melrose

"Open my soul wider than my fear..."

The Missing Peace is a one woman musical folk tale that tells the story of Brianna, a young girl who sets off on a quest to find her missing mother and the missing feminine face of God. She overcomes the pressures to abide by the rules of the patriarchal society in which she lives and learns to follow her own heart and mind in search of the truth.

The Missing Peace began as an album which was recorded by Judy Malloy and Ron Melrose by Sons of Sound in 1998. You can find more information about that recording here.

The Missing Peace will premiere as a stage show produced by StillPointe Theatre of Baltimore at the 2016 Capital Fringe Festival in Washington DC July 9, 13, 16, 19, and 23 at the Trinidad Theatre- Logan Fringe Arts Space. The production is directed by Kelly Williams Carlson with musical direction by Mandee Ferrier Roberts and featuring Christine Demuth as "The Storyteller" who sings all of the roles from maiden to crone. The Missing Peace is a unique musical experience that will illuminate and inspire.
